World Fair Trade Day, Sat. May 10
We have a full day of events, so come have fun and learn more about Fair Trade!
Fashion demo by UDress, 12-2pm
Belly dance demo, 3-4pm
Drum and percussion demo, 5-6pm
All day: Free cofffee and food samples, door prize drawings every hour.
UD student groups participating: Engineers without Borders, Amensty
International, Uganda Untold, Perpetual Prosperity Pumps (bring in your
used athletic shoes to help a family in Africa), Students for the
Environment.
Join us for the Fair Trade Coffee break, Sat. May 10 at 3pm (even if
you're not at Village Imports, raise a mug of Fair Trade coffee at 3pm,
then tell us how many people joined you). The US Fair Trade movement is
trying to set the record for the Guisness Book of World Records.

 We have a great selection of hand-made djembe drums from
Ghana, Tibetan
singing bowls, authentic didgeridoos from Australia, panpipes from
Peru, rain sticks and ocarinas from Chile. Demonstrations gladly
given! We also carry a full selection of Putumayo CDs - and you can listen to any of the CDs while you shop.
